A Family Adventure

Yesterday Scott and I took the kids up to the Bayfield, WI area for lunch and then a hike on the Apostle Island National Lake Shore to the sea caves. The hike involved walking on a frozen Lake Superior, so there was a lot of ice and snow! Fun was had by all. Here are a few pictures from our day:
Three of our four kids enjoying the caves (Coen was all snuggled up on daddy's back).

Exploring the caves! :-)

This is the ice road that we drove over between Bayfield and Madeline Island. By "ice road" I mean a "road" on the frozen Lake Superior.

Now this is an icy road!

Here is my favorite picture of the caves from yesterday.

Now that is ice!

One more....

Feeling as though we were at the end of the world

More than anything this blog is for us; for our own little family. As the days and months and years pass by we find ourselves forgetting many of the wonderful times that our family has shared. This blog is our way of documenting and helping us to remember.
