Tricia, I can't wait for you to be able to:
* Come home after a quick trip away from your baby and have her giggle and clap with glee at the sight of you, and acting as though she hasn't seen you in a week rather than an just an hour.
* Leave your house with your baby and have every person you pass by comment on how beautiful she is, making you feel like the proudest mama on the face of the earth.
* Change your baby's diaper just in time for her decide to poop; a poop so determined that it shoots out of her bum and lands directly on your leg.
* Walk into your kitchen to find your baby looking like this:

or maybe this:
(That is black ink, by the way. This is not recommended.)
* To have your baby give you big, wet kisses and hug you as tight as she can before you tuck her into bed at night.
* For your baby to ask you to read the same book over and over, so much so that she can recite it back to you word for word despite her lack of reading skills.
* To see your daughter experience things for the first time in life and to be able to watch her react with raw wonder and awe. Also for you to be able to experience life through your daughter's eyes.
* Have your daughter decide in the middle of dinner that you and Nate need to get up and dance for her. Not later, but right now. And she is going to choreograph the dancing, down to daddy walking like a penguin and you "twaying"(aka "twirling"), while she jumps up and down on her chair. (Yes, my three year old did this a few months ago. I have never laughed so hard in my life!)
and finally,
* For your baby to reach up for you to pick her up and have you tell her that she loves you for the first time.
