He is his dad's child

Below is an example of a conversation that I had with Braden yesterday. I am glad to say that I did not come with male parts after this. Penises clearly make boys very strange creatures.

---I see Braden grabbing at his privates---
Me: Braden, do you need to go potty?
B: No, I already went potty.
Me: Okay, well does your penis hurt?
B: No, it's fine.
Me: Well, why are you grabbing your penis then?
B: Mama, it's fine, my peepee is just hanging out.
Me: It's hanging out?
B: Yes, (gesturing to his penis and pointing left), it is hanging out.
Me: (LOL here), Umm, okay then!
B: Yeah, because I was in the bathroom going potty and then my peepee floated away. It went upstairs and it laid down on my bed. Then it took a nap and when it woke up it peed on my bed, and it was sticky. Then it floated all around the house and it peed everywhere! It peed on your bed even mama! And it peed on the couch and in the refrigerator, and on the table, and over by the TV. I don't know what I am going to do with this peepee!
Me: Alrighty then! Is your peepee okay now then?
B: No! I don't know where it went. I need to buy a new peepee mama. My other peepee is not nice! It's pees everywhere! So tomorrow, we need to go to the store to buy a new peepee.

Between my fits of laughter I had to break it to the boy that you can't buy a new penis and that he just has to take care of the one he has. He was disappointed to say the least that he is stuck with the penis that he has, you know, with all of the random floating around and peeing that it is doing in the house.
